Lodge News for August...

LODGE NEWS:
We had a wonderful event for a 100 of Conservation Voter's of New Mexico and it even rained abit ! We had appetizers and a new red table wine from the Sheehan Vineyard made with indigenous grapes from the South Valley. Very local !

MUI MUI REPORT:
Still working 7am to 7pm asleep in the chair in the great room.

WORD OF THE MONTH:
Cacophony- discordant mixture of sounds.

Blue Dome Gallery news:
DENNIS WELLER'S OWL

The gallery just received these two pieces from Dennis Weller. The owl is looking over the pond. And the new sculpture in the front circle is also is Dennis'.
The new fence of found New Mexico objects to include old Bear Mountain Lodge fireplace screens was built by Alan Rodriguez and Tomas Wedgewood. We are planning on replanting the circle with a mixture of plants for all seasons.

CAFE NEWS:
Cooking class is August 11th at 10:00 am. It is full but we do have a wait list.

End of Summer Brunch:
