Bear Mountain Lodge features 12 rooms: six in the main building, four in Myra's Retreat, and one each in the secluded Wren's Nest and in The Coop. Each room displays art carefully chosen from the Blue Dome Gallery to complement its unique personality. The 1928 Lodge building houses the spacious common area with its remarkable fireplaces and hand-hewn beams and staircase, as well as the art gallery, dining room, and gift shop.

Café Oso Azul
A substantial breakfast for each guest is included in the price of your room. Generally, we start with house-made granola, fruit and yogurt, then serve a hot entrée such as strata, frittata, French toast, or waffles with bacon or sausage.
We also welcome the community to Breakfast & Holiday Meals.

Known for its vibrant arts community, downtown Silver City hosts a variety of galleries, gift shops, historic buildings, fine restaurants and bars, and quaint homes. Well worth exploring by foot - for a glimpse of the region's history and archeology you will enjoy the Silver City Museum and the museum at Western New Mexico University.

Each piece we display reflects the care and creative force of the artist. Our painters, sculptors, jewelers, furniture makers, glass artists, and potters are known for their excellent craftsmanship and style. We are proud to personally know each of the artists we represent, and happy to show both established and experimental work.

Find a quiet escape from the pressures of the day or a unique starting point for the adventure of a lifetime. The 1928 Lodge building houses the spacious common area with remarkable fireplaces, hand-hewn beams and staircase, the Blue Dome art gallery, dining room, and gift shop. The building is surrounded by expansive shaded portales and landscaped with drought adapted plants. Public areas and all twelve guest rooms the downtown display original works of art provided by the Blue Dome Gallery.
